Bio
Iannis is an award-winning writer and filmmaker. Recently, his romantic dramedy script Only Loves Matters was produced by KQ Movies and has now been released internationally on Apple TV 4K, Amazon Prime, and Fandango at Home. It was recently screened at the UK Parliament and had previously won a Gold Award for Original Screenplay from the Hollywood Gold Awards. Before that, his dramedy screenplay, Mary and Dionysus, was a Semi-Finalist at the Shore Scripts Feature Screenplay Competition, and his short film Headz won a Gold Lion Award at the London Film Awards.
On the publishing front, he contributed the short story Aerophobia and the play Theatre of Crows to the art and fiction anthology A Guide to the Birds of the British Isles, published by Arcimboldi Press in 2018. He has also written prose for the short story blogs Phobos: Tales of Horror, which features a selection of horror stories, and Motel Medusa, a collection of pulp noir tales.
